The weekend before the last weekend I walked with some friends to the peak of „Hirschberg“ which is nearly 1700 meters high. To be honest there has been a huge  difference between a mountainstorm and our walk. But for me it felt like a storm! As a child we often made vacation in the alps. Born and raised at the coast means to not be interested that much in vacation on beach. You want to see some different landscapes as you have just in front of your own house door. In summer we travelled often to Bavaria, the french alps or Austria. I enjoyed the totally different landscape in comparison to Rostock and northern Germany, I liked our walking and hiking tours and the view from the peaks. For almost six years now I am living in Munich and the alps are really close here. But ironically I rarely get to the beautiful world of the alps. So I really enjoyed our six hours long walk and had a great time.
