Irene Anton

Über die Fotografin Irene Anton konnte ich nicht viel herausfinden, bis auf die Tatsache, dass sie verdammt gute Fotos macht. Das stellt sie mit über 700 Bildern in ihrem Flickrprofil tatkräftig unter Beweis. Soweit ich mich erinnern kann, gibt es kein vergleichbares Profil, welches unter so vielen Fotos ein derartige gleichbleibend hohe Qualität hat. Ihre Werke sind sehr farbenfroh, natürlich, emotional und vermitteln die pure Freude am Leben. Zudem setzt sie teilweise sehr intensiv den Bokeh-Effekt ein.

I started taking photographs three years ago. That’s also when i bought my first digital camera, a Canon 350D. Now I use a Canon 50D.
My favourite lens by far, and one i tend to (ab)use, even in situations where I should be using something else, is a Canon 50mm 1.4. Inspiration can come from anything really…travelling, music, books, the weather, memories, loneliness, love, illusions…and Christmas of course..! With very few exceptions, I generally I don’t think I try to communicate anything to others through my photography. I just express myself. What others see is what they choose to see.
