The BMW Museum in Munich is located near the BMW Headquarters, BMW Welt and the Olympia Park. It was opened right before the Olympic Summer Games in 1972. It deals with the history and chronics of BMW. There are new and classic cars, motorcycles, engines and turbines. Special exhibitions are always worth a visit too. Between 2004 and 2008 the musuem was closed to renovate and to create a connection to the new BMW Welt which is directly oppsite.
Last weekend my parents were in Munich and we came in the enjoyment to visit the BMW Museum. We had a great time and I can absolutely recommend it. Further information are avaiable on the BMW Welt Website.
